Deadline: Nominations for this 59th annual MCEC Recognition must be electronically submitted by January 9, 2024 at midnight/12:00am EST. Presentation will be at the 84th Annual MCEC Conference Reception on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Background: This award is given by the Michigan Council for Exceptional Children to honor an extraordinary undergraduate student who is a current member of CEC.

AWARD BENEFITS
Winner will:
• be invited to attend a special awards ceremony and celebration at the MCEC Conference;
• receive one-night accommodations at the Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, where the recognition ceremony will be held;

• $100 cash reward;

• one-year membership to CEC;
• receive a plaque with inscription;

• be featured on MCECs social media platforms;

• be featured on CEC’s Website: www.michigancec.org, and
• have the nomination forwarded to National CEC for the Student Award
