2023 Elementary Summer Programs Teacher Application
SAIL (Summer Adventures in Learning), Bilingual, STEM Camp, and Humanities Camp Summer Programs are now open for applications. Last year was a great success with over 450 students attending, so we need many teachers to support these fantastic programs. All elementary students across the whole district will have access to elementary Summer Programs, so this is a great way to meet students that might be in your class for the upcoming school year. All Summer Programs will be in person learning.

Teachers receive $35 a hour for Summer Programs. This will be delivered as an overall stipend (other earnings):
  • SAIL Teacher: $2,730
  • Bilingual Teacher: $5,285
  • Camp Teacher: $1,015
This is a daily rate of $183.75 for SAIL and $297.50 for Bilingual not including Professional Learning. You must be present to earn the daily rate.

SAIL dates are June 5-22 (no Fridays), 7:15-12:30. In addition to the 1.5 professional learning days (May 31 and 1), teachers will also receive 4 hours pay for work time outside of the SAIL hours included in the stipend. This We will include GT students and NOT have a separate GT camp. If you are passionate about GT students please apply for a GT passion project strand.

Bilingual dates and hours will be June 5-29, 7:15-4:00 (no Fridays). Bilingual will also include the 1.5 professional learning days on May 31st and June 1 and 4 hours of outside work hours.
