YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE WHAT ELMSWELL MIGHT INVEST IN - PLEASE TELL US WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
As you know you live in a thriving village with lots of ways for residents and others to support and get involved in life in Elmswell.
The Parish Council and Elmswell’s Community, Sports and Leisure groups have a wonderful opportunity to apply for funds from Mid Suffolk District Council to support infrastructure projects in the village to the tune of up to £761k. To help the Parish Council prioritise applying for money towards projects which are of most importance to the village and make the biggest difference to Elmswell we want to hear your views!
Infrastructure typically covers 3 broad categories:
• Physical infrastructure:(e.g. highways, transport links, cycleways, energy supply, water, flood alleviation, waste management);
• Social infrastructure:(e.g. education, health, social care, emergency services, art and culture, sports halls, community shops, halls and pubs);
• Green infrastructure:(e.g. parks, woodlands, play areas, public open space)
N.B. Charities, faith groups and voluntary and community groups seeking funding may also contact the Grants team independently at Mid Suffolk District Council by emailing
