What/which community organizations or supports are you involved with? *
Describe an interaction with someone (you think was) experiencing homelessness that you found hard to navigate. It could be a situation you were involved in directly or something you saw. It could be during your work in a particular program or in your personal life.
Briefly describe some points of tension or conflict that exist in the programs you are a part of. For example, if you are in a drop-in program, a point of tension might occur when you run out of food, or when you are trying to close up and someone won't come out of the washroom. Most service delivery programs have these points of tension. We want to know yours!
What practical tools or tips do you think would be most helpful when it comes to connecting with people through your community's outreach or drop-in programs?
Please let us know of any food restrictions we should be aware of in preparing a light dinner. *
