Ce sondage vise à évaluer l'intérêt du public pour la création d'une CHAMBRE NOIRE D'ACCÈS PUBLIC à Moncton au Nouveau-Brunswick - oui, un véritable laboratoire entièrement dédié à la production de photographies argentiques et de pratiques photographiques expérimentales !
En temps que pionnières de ce projet, nous vous sommes TRÈS reconnaissantes de prendre le temps de remplir le court formulaire suivant. Votre contribution est extrêmement précieuse alors que nous approchons divers organismes de financement...
Imaginons une chambre noire accessible où vous pouvez traiter vos propres négatifs et faire vos propres photographie argentiques ! L'espace comprend :
- Un espace de travail étanche à la lumière / inactinique et bien aéré
- Évier(s) avec filtration / contrôle de température d'eau + plomberie nécessaire
- Espace de travail sec / surfaces éditer les images (table de travail, espace mural)
- Matériel / équipement de base pour faire développer des négatifs et agrandir des photographies (bains chimiques, pinces, cuves de développement, séchoir, produits chimiques et agents de rinçage, gants, agrandisseurs, minuteries, table lumineuse...) *papier photographique non-compris, mais pourrait être fourni pour certaines activités.
- Possibilités d'ateliers / de cours autour de diverses techniques photographiques (Polaroid lifts, sténopés, cyanotypes, expérimentation et exploration de différentes solutions photographiques + + +)
- Possibilités d'assister à des conférences d'artistes invité•es
- Possibilités de devenir membre et d'avoir accès régulier au laboratoire
- L'occasion de s'impliquer dans un conseil d'administration pour aider à gérer la chambre noire / studio
- L'occasion de faire partie d'une communauté niche de photo-nerds !
- L'occasion de faire partie de la grande communauté culturelle de Moncton et d'avoir accès à un réseau de personnes et d'aventures créatives!
- ... et encore plus!
Nous en sommes actuellement aux premières étapes de la conception du projet. Il reste BEAUCOUP de composantes à déterminer, mais c'est maintenant la chance de devenir curieuzes, impliqué•es et passionné•es !

This survey is to gauge public interest in the creation of a PUBLIC ACCESS DARKROOM in Moncton New Brunswick - yes, a fully equipped laboratory dedicated to the production of film photography and analogue, experimental creative photographic practices!

Now,
let's fast-forward and imagine a beautiful, accessible darkroom where you can process your own negatives and make your own photographs! The space features the following:
- A
properly ventilated, lightproof / safelight working environment
- Sink(s) with
water filtration / temperature control gauge + necessary plumbing fixtures
- Dry working space / surfaces to review and edit images (working table, wall space)
- Basic materials / equipment to make develop negatives and enlarge photographs (such as: chemical baths, tongs, development tanks, drying racks, chemicals and rinsing agents, gloves, enlargers, timers, light table...) *photographic paper not included, but could be supplied for certain activities.
- Opportunities for workshops and classes around various photographic techniques (Polaroid lifts, pin hole cameras, cyanotypes, experimentation with different development solution + + +)
- Opportunities for attending talks and conferences from visiting artists
- Opportunity to become a member and have regular access to the space
- Opportunity to be involved on a board of directors to help run the darkroom / studio
- Opportunity to be part of a niche community of photo-nerds!
- Opportunity to be part of Moncton's greater cultural community and gain access to a whole network of people and potential creative adventures!
- ... and so much more!
We're currently in the first steps in making this a reality. LOTS is yet to be determined, but this is your chance to get curious, involved and passionate about it all!
