Chanukah Shabbat at MH this year will be an in-person and online treat for the senses, with two opportunities for Tikkun Olam participation! We’ll begin with a Chanukah market with our She’arimers selling fair trade Chanukah gelt, hot chocolate and handmade candles. Then we’ll celebrate Shabbat and Chanukah with singing, candle lighting and games! Be prepared for dreidl and laughter! Feel free to bring your own menorah in person or virtually so we can create an array of light together. At 7:30, we’ll say goodbye to our She’arimers, and Solomon will share a short teaching for any adults who want to stay. We will also be collecting new and gently used men's coats for Afghan refugees who have recently arrived. Join us in spreading the light and warmth of this holiday to those in need.
