PurpleAir Sensor Survey
Thank you for your interest to take part in this community-based scientific project in northeastern North Carolina. Please fill out the following survey to be considered to host a PurpleAir air quality sensor at your property. Starting in June/July, 2022, data generated by the sensors will be used to examine the link between blue-green algae blooms and air quality in eastern North Carolina. Real-time data will be available to the public for use in air quality monitoring and research.

This project is funded by North Carolina Sea Grant's Community Collaborative Research program, led by Colleen Karl (ckarl2010@gmail.com), Dr. Hans Paerl, and Haley Plaas (hplaas@live.unc.edu). Please contact Colleen or Haley with any questions, concerns, or if you would like to get involved with the project in another way.
