ANHE Climate & Health Advocacy Hill Campaign
In June 2020, the United States House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis (SCCC) released a blueprint to address the climate crisis entitled “Solving the Climate Crisis: The Congressional Action Plan for a Clean Energy Economy and a Healthy and Just America.” The Climate Crisis Action Plan includes 12 key pillars, outlining policy recommendations and a roadmap for Congress to address the climate crisis by focusing on building a clean energy economy and advancing economic and environmental justice.

The ANHE Global Nurses Climate Change Committee has developed a summary of how solutions outlined in the report will make people healthier if urgent and immediate climate action is taken.
