Hello School Families,

Mark Morris Dance Group’s scholarship program began in 2001 when we opened the Dance Center. Over the 2021-2022 academic year, with great thanks to the Allan and Rhea Bufferd Education Fund and MMDG Board Member Onay Payne and as part of our commitment to our core values of advancing access, we formalized the program. During 2023-2024, $25,000 in need-based scholarships will be provided to a limited number of qualifying students and will be awarded via a first-come, first serve basis.

Applicants will be notified of results on a rolling basis until all scholarships are distributed. Students who are eligible for a scholarship within The School will receive a scholarship in one class per session. Dates for notification in each session are on the Mark Morris Dance Group website Scholarship page.

*Scholarships are awarded to families who meet the Federal WIC Income Guidelines (https://www.health.ny.gov/prevention/nutrition/wic/income_guidelines.htm)

**If your child is between the ages of 6 and 18, they will be eligible to enroll in classes within our Children and Teen program.
