We are made up of BILPOC (Black, Indigenous, Latiné, People of Color) and allies who strive to celebrate diversity in Loveland and throughout Northern Colorado while creating a stronger sense of belonging for all. Together with our partners, we create opportunities for the community to learn from one another. Our goal is to support, celebrate, and embrace the cultural richness of our community. As a member of Heart and Sol you will receive:
- Invites, agendas and minutes for monthly meetings including updates regarding the activities and initiatives Heart and Sol is pursuing
- Voting rights on policy motions and governance
- Opportunities to volunteer on planning subcommittees for our community events including the Dr Martin Luther King Jr Holiday; Lunar New Year; International Women's Day (IWD); Asian Pacific Islander and Desi American Heritage Month (APIDA); Pride; Juneteenth; Latiné Heritage Month (LHM); Día
de los Muertos (DDLM); and Native American Heritage Month (NAHM).
- Other volunteer opportunities throughout the year including invites to attend special community gatherings
