DREAMM "Create an Intercultural Cyprus through Art"
DREAMM (Develop and Realise Empowering Actions for Mentoring Migrants) [Project number: 957882 - DREAMM - AMIF-2019-AG-CALL], is an AMIF (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund) project, aiming to find new ways of bringing newly arrived Third-Country Nationals and local communities together.

DREAMM's main objective is to create a mentoring scheme between Third-Country Nationals and locals, to implement a two-way integration model in an intercultural perspective in order to:
- reach a better mutual understanding of the other’s values and behaviours
- foster a sense of belonging to a community
- mitigate stereotypes, discrimination, xenophobia and racism for migrants from third countries to improve their understanding of local services.

DREAMM as part of its culture-sensitive approach, offers structured orientation and field activities for Third-Country Nationals and members of the local community, to empower and facilitate communication with the local community to foster a community-based response to the challenges of a two-way integration process.
The partnership includes partners from Italy, Greece, Germany, Malta, Austria, Perugia and Cyprus. More information can be found in the official website of the project: https://www.dreamm-project.eu/

As part of the project's activities we organise "Familiarising with the Place" and "Become a Citizen" workshops to help the process of integration of newly arrived migrants and refugees in the local community.
Our next event is called "Create an Intercultural Cyprus through Art". Join us in a Gathering for Gathering for Understanding: Discrimination - Exploring the topic of discrimination through art.
