Bronco Senior Football ~ Tommy Haskell Award
Tommy Haskell was a Bronco alumni who excelled in sports and understood the meaning of hard work, dedication and sportsmanship.  His life revolved around three things, his family, the FDNY and the sport of football.  

Tommy Haskell died a hero on September 11, 2001 while attempting to save lives at the World Trade Center as a Captain in the FDNY.  Tommy had also been the Captain of the FDNY football team.  After his death, Tommy was posthumously promoted to the rank of Battalion Chief, making him the youngest Battalion Chief in the history of the FDNY.

In order to be considered for this award, a player must submit an application to the Board of Directors.  He must have a minimum of 4 years in the organization.  The player must show that he is involved in community service and must have a high grade point average.  Bronco spirit, sportsmanship and the overall quality of the player, along with the player’s character, are also taken into consideration.  To submit your name for consideration, please fill out the following information.  The deadline to submit an application is 6pm on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022.
