1. The 2019 Lions International Peace Poster Competition (Event) is hosted by the Lions Club of Sunway Damansara Metro (Organisers) and will be held at 1 Mont Kiara (Venue) on 2nd November 2019.

2. Categories:
A. 11-13 Years Old* (Official Entry)
B. 8-10 Years Old*
C. Below 8 Years Old*

3. Rules & Regulations
a. 11-13 Years Old* (Official Entry)
i. Participants date of birth between 16th November 2005 to 15th November 2008. (Both dates inclusive)
ii. Base on the theme Journey of Peace, participants are required to create an artwork using any 2D art form that may include water/poster colour, pencil colour, magic colour, crayons and/or any colouring material
iii. Time allowed will be 2.5 hours
iv. You will be given an art block
v. Three-dimensional entries will not be accepted. Nothing may be glued, stapled or attached to the artwork in any way.
vi. The use of lettering or numbering on the front of the poster, in any language, is not allowed. All artist signatures or initials should be written on the back of the poster.
b. 8-10 Years Old & below 8 Years Old (Sub-competition)
i. This is a Colouring Contest.
ii. Time allowed is 2 hours for Category B and 1.5 hours for Category C
iii. Size of colouring sheet provided by the Organisers will be A3 (Category B) and A4 (Category C)
iv. Only Crayons, magic colour, pencil colour are allowed. No water colour is allowed.

4. Participants are to bring along their own colouring kits based on the rules and regulations as stated in item (3).

5. Participants are to bring along their own portable table and chair if needed.

6. Judging will be based on originality, artistic merit and expression of the theme.

7. All completed artworks are returnable to participants except for the selected Official category which are needed to be submitted to the next level of judging for the contest.

8. Judge's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.

iii. 2nd Runner-Up - RM 100 cash + RM 100 worth of prizes
iv. 5 Consolation prizes - RM 30 worth of prizes
b. 8-10 years old
i. Champion - RM 100 cash + RM 100 worth of prizes
ii. ii. 1st Runner-Up - RM 50 cash + RM 50 worth of prizes
iii. iii. 2nd Runner-Up - RM 25 cash + RM 25 worth of prizes
iv. iv. 5 Consolation prizes - RM 30 worth of prizes
c. Below 8 years old
i. Champion - RM 100 cash + RM 100 worth of prizes
ii. 1st Runner-Up - RM 50 cash + RM 50 worth of prizes
iii. 2nd Runner-Up - RM 25 cash + RM 25 worth of prizes
iv. 5 Consolation prizes - RM 30 worth of prizes
