Here you will be able to describe your proposals. Please read the instructions on
https://folquemadrid.wixsite.com/cenizas/can-i-come and take your time to think about how you want to do it.
You can send us up to 4 proposals, they can be from different areas or you can repeat until 2 for the same area, but we hardly recomend you to send at least one dancing proposal. But can also just send only one idea and it's totally great.
Dance workshops will be evaluated and considered either for the residency or the festival
If your application is chosen, we will program between 1 and 2 of your proposals.
You have time until the 22nd of April (included), we'll send out the results during the first week of May.
Selection criteria:
- Interest of the proposal (explain clearly your topic, what do you wish to achieve, did you try this workshop somewhere else?) (30%)
- Methodology used (please, describe briefly which exercises or dynamics are you planning) (40%)
- Background of the teacher (30%)
After the first row of selection, some other criteria that depend on the rest of the proposals will be applied for the final selection.
- Originality (the topic is not addressed by more than one resident)
- Geographical balance: we wish for a good representation of the overall European system
- Gender balance: we will do our best to keep it balanced
- Minorities inclusion
- Balance between new faces and Cenizas veterans
So, bear in mind that a rejection may come not from the overall quality of your proposal, but from the artistic fit with the rest.
Privacy reminder: any personal data is required only to be able to write you back, make suggestions, ask for clarifications. It will be stored in our database and we will NOT use it for anything but Cenizas. If you prefer, we will delete it as soon as you ask, and it will be deleted anyway 5 years after Cenizas.
