RSVP Family Literacy Night at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West

Parents and students are invited to join our pre-k through high school teachers at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West for fun literacy building activities in all 5 of the Center’s museums:  

  • Use a field guide and dichotomous key to identify raptors.

  • Compare and contrast beaks and skulls in the Draper.

  • Experiment with powwow instruments and discover Native American symbols in the Plains Indian Museum. 

  • Create your own Western Art Field Guide in the Whitney.

  • Look for letters and toys or write your own dime novel in the Buffalo Bill Museum.

  • Play with the tools of the mountain men and investigate Jeremiah Johnson in the Firearms Museum. 

  • Scavenge for words throughout the Center.

  • Be entered for prize drawings by completing the tasks for your age group.

Family Admission is free w/student Z Pass. Finger food will be provided.  

Thursday, March 30th

4:30-7:30 PM at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
