The role of the Parent Governor
The role of the parent governor is not to be a parent's representative, but to be a representative parent.

This means that parent governors are full members of the Governing Body, helping shape the school's improvement plan and vision with the added perspective of being a parent with a child at the school.

It does not mean taking on complaints from other parents, or that your role on the Governing Body is limited in any way.
