Chinese-American History Walking Tour
The A. Philip Randoph Instute - Maine Chapter - will be gathering to walk together and learn about the history of Chinese people in Portland. Gary Libby, who spoke at the APRI meeting this month, designed the tour.

Sunday, June 2
We'll meet near the beginning of the tour at 2:15pm and aim to begin the tour by 2:30. Specific directions will be sent by email shortly before the event.

Some of us enjoy going out for a bite to eat after these events at some nearby venue, and everyone is invited to stay and join us for that as well.

There is no cost to participate, but donations to APRI-ME are always welcome.

From the website for the tour: This tour is linear and does not make a complete loop back to the point of beginning. It covers approximately 2 miles to the last site on the tour. The return distance to the point of beginning from there is approximately one mile. The complete tour takes about 90 minutes to do, including the time needed to return to the point of beginning.
