Shorts Corner Submission Form

Zippy Frames and its Shorts Corner offer a highly eclectic and comprehensive catalogue of animation shorts. Its staff picks up films that excel regardless of

  •  technique (2D, 3D animation, stop-motion including cut-out animation, pixilation etc., experimental animation)
  • subject-matter (films for children, films for adults, festival films and music videos)
  • career stage (professionals, student film directors)
  • geography (Europe, Africa, Americas, Asia, Australia)

    Eligibility: animation shorts up to 40 minutes
Conditions and When to Submit:
  • If you have a finished film planning to be online soon, send it to us to present, interview or review. The sooner we can watch it, the better.
  • The film needs to premiere at Zippy Frames. If you want to send it to another publication, please allow a minimum of 48h window. Exception: Vimeo Staff Picks (but not Vimeo Premieres).

    NB1: If you have a finished film that you want to boost its visibility but is  NOT to be released online soon,   please send an inquiry to info@zippyframes.com for interview options
  • NB2: For our affiliated Story Development and Festival Consultancy services, check our page or send us an email

    How It works
    • You submit the form
    • You pay the processing fee (23 EUR) via PayPal (individuals) or Bank (individuals-companies)
    • We receive the form and payment and we come back to you (via email) no sooner than 5 working days.
    • If the film is selected, we'll ask you for additional info via email (stills, answers to interview questions etc, depending on the film). We either interview the director or review the film or both; it really depends on the film itself and the best way to showcase it.
    • If the film is rejected, we'll give a brief feedback on the decision
    • We can't issue refunds or waivers. A business invoice is issued for all submissions
    • We jointly decide what's the best date to feature the film
