VOLUNTEER CODE OF CONDUCT
Volunteers are to: respect all individual's rights, safety and property; not allow any youth participants to leave the Fifth Third Arena during the event without prior authorized permission; encourage full participation among youth in all activities to follow the rules set forth by the event staff; promote good sportsmanship during activities; serve as a good role model and use good judgment to diffuse conflicts; not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender orientation, or disability; value all youth participants and know that their participation in the event is essential to its success; and have fun!
I understand that this event, CancerFree KIDS Night for the Fight, presented by TQL Foundation on February 12, 2022 is an alcohol and drug free event and I will enter the premise sober/clean and will not possess or use any of these substances while involved in any Night for the Fight activity. I understand that I am to abide by all local, state, and federal laws - especially those regarding child abuse, sexual misconduct, and substance abuse.
I understand my responsibilities as outlined above and understand that I will be asked to terminate my position if I do not follow the responsibilities.

MINOR PROTECTION POLICY & EMERGENCY PLAN AGREEMENT
I confirm that I have read and understand the policies and procedures that are stated in the CancerFree KIDS minor protection plan and hereby agree to abide by the rules stated in the policy. I also agree to adhere to the instructions provided in the Emergency Evacuation Plan to ensure safety of myself and the students in which I am responsible for.

MEDIA RELEASE
I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the above parties to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, website images, recordings or any other record of this event.

VOLUNTEER EVENT WAIVER OF LIABILITY
I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able to do so. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am traveling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event. I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release, hold harmless, and forever discharge CancerFree KIDS, Fifth Third Arena, University of Cincinnati, the event organizers, sponsors, promoters, each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event. I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise.
