FLC Worship Reflection 22-23
Part of this time of learning about your faith is participating in the worship life of your congregation and actively listening to God's living Word. The questions on this worship reflection are designed to focus your listening during worship: in the worship service / liturgy, in the Bible readings, and in the sermon. The worship reflection shapes and guides your listening as you move toward saying “Yes!” to your faith in the Living God.

Both 7th and 8th graders will complete 12 Worship Reflections before May 31, 2023.

What is the Gospel Reading for today? *

What challenged you in today's sermon? To answer that, you could answer any one of these questions:

- What expectations did you hear God has for your relationships with others?

- What kind of challenge did the preacher say we face in our lives?

- What change needs to happen in our lives?

- What’s something you heard that you should do or should not do?

*

What did you hear in the sermon that is good news for you? For others? For the whole world? (Think about what you heard the preacher say is a promise God gives or wants to give you: how God seeks to support, sustain, and bless your life.)

*

What is something going on in your life right now or in the life of someone you know that you want Pastor Erin and Sharon to pray for? (we keep these confidential)?

Thank you for taking the time to complete your Worship Reflection! We hope you have a great week and remember how much God loves you! Pastor Erin and Sharon
