The reinforcement of the Ethnic Binary between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians within the Education system
Hey there,

The following questions are working towards the study of how the Education system within Australia reinforces the Ethnic Binary between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. Such questions and answers will be used within my Personal Interest Project, otherwise, known as a (PIP).

All responses will remain anonymous and will be reviewed exclusively between myself and my Society and Culture teacher. I appreciate your honest feedback as it will be a valuable asset to my primary research and will only take a few minutes of your time.

The only personal information gathered your age, religion, ethnicity etc. If you do not wish to answer a question you can simply proceed to the next question and skip it. Your participation is voluntary, and you can end the questionnaire at any time.

If you would like to view the completed research report or general enquiries you can email: peter.gleeson20@education.nsw.gov.au

Thank you for your cooperation and participation in my assessment.

Peter Gleeson.

The term ‘Indigenous’ is generally used to refer to Australia’s First Nations Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, though other terms (such as ‘Indigenous’ and ‘Aboriginal’ Australians) also are applied. The plural form reminds us there were many nations and there is no single cultural model that fits all those who identify as Indigenous.
