2023 Registration Information

How To Register: Complete the online registration form below.

Swim Team Fee:
REGISTRATION FEE: $35 PER SWIMMER.
Note- for the 2023 season there is no fee for village residents in BH or CH, have donated funds for the season.

EQUIPMENT/CONCESSION STAND FEE:  $25 PER SWIMMER

Parent Meeting: Please save the date for the mandatory parent meeting on May 24th 2023 Cuyahoga Heights Village Hall.  Time:  6:00pm. Plan to attend! Fees can be paid at this time (cash or check accepted).

The Requirements: At the beginning of the season all swimmers must be able to swim the width of the pool unassisted. A backpack may be used. 

Practice Schedule: Practices start the week of June 5th at the William R. Gerdon Swimming Pool in Cuyahoga Heights. Please plan to attend 2 practices each week – for your convenience many practice times are available to choose from.
Practice times: MTWTH 7pm-8pm

Parent Involvement: ALL Parents are required to be involve at all home swim meets (concession stand, ribbons, timers etc).

Additional items needed during the season:
1. All swimmers must have a Cuyahoga Heights pool pass to participate on swim team.
District Resident: Contact your village of residence for pool pass information.  
Nonresident: Those living outside the school district must purchase a pool pass in accordance with the rules pertaining to nonresidents. These will be sold at the Cuyahoga Heights Pool starting on or around June 3rd. For more information contact the Village of Cuyahoga Heights (216-641-7020).

2. I/We hereby give my/our consent to the participation of my/our child(ren) in any and all activities of the Blue Wave Swim Team (the “Team”) during the current season and assume all risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities of the Team. I understand the Team is not affiliated with the Village of Cuyahoga Heights but rather is organized by a group of volunteer parents. I/ We hereby release, absolve, indemnify and hold harmless the Village of Cuyahoga Heights, the Village of Valley View, the Village of Brooklyn Heights, the Team, the Team’s coaches, organizers, officials, sponsors or any person performing services on behalf of the Team for any action or inaction taken regarding my/our children’s participation in any Team activity. Further, if I have provided this Registration Form to the Team with only one signature, I represent that I have authority to bind the other parent to the consents and releases provided herein. *
