Filling out this form adds your name to The Westlake High School Latin Club roster, from which you will have the dues billed to you to pay for your t-shirt, National Latin Exam, and memberships in:
- Area F
- Texas State Junior Classical League
- National Junior Classical League
- National Latin Honor Society (if eligible)
Membership is optional, but it is required IF you wish to participate in the National Latin Exam, Certamen, Area F (which we are hosting on February 22-23), State (which is April 4-5th at Anderson HS in 2024), National Convention in the summer July 22-28 at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, &/or any other Latin Club activities through out the year.
To be in Latin Club, ALL you have to do is
- fill out this form with your parent's permission
- pay your $50 dues in skyward (or bring $ to the school's bookkeeper)
ANY other participation is entirely voluntary and you will receive an invitation to join in but never a
requirement. Even meetings- these are only required of officers. For all dues-paying members, participation in any and
all events is optional. Only officers must attend meetings. If nothing
else, join for the t-shirt and to pad your resume. Seriously! You may also bring a check -made out to
The WHS Latin Club- or $50 cash to the campus Bookkeeper to pay your dues without the convenience fee associated with the credit card charge.
