Bowel cancer screening looks for early signs of bowel cancer in otherwise healthy people who do not have any symptoms. It’s a test you do at home which is offered to everyone aged 50 to 74. The aim of screening is to detect bowel cancer at an early stage, which may mean it is easier to treat.
