The main target of this networking platform is to connect students with Iranian heritage who are currently studying in universities in California (mentees) with alumni of universities of California who are currently working in the tech industry (mentor). This program will provide an opportunity for the students to learn more about different career paths, job environments, valuable information such as requirements for finding internships/full time positions, differences between various technical rules, etc., and most importantly, will be a unique platform to connect students with the larger Iranian professionals community who themselves have been students just a few years ago.
The length of the program will be 4 months, every student will be matched with two mentors, and she will have two meetings with each of them, for the duration of 45 minutes. There will be one meeting per month for every mentor, and every mentee.
