Volunteer application 2023

Heya Kosmonauts! Do you wish to dive deeper into the creation of Kosmos Festival?  The call for volunteers is opening now and selections will be done in April 2023. 

There is plenty of diverse work available for people who are willing to spend time in the festival area, do exciting days full of physical, creative work with a field kitchen feeding the crew. You can also work during the event, directing traffic, keeping the area in good condition and doing other lighter tasks. 

We also need people with specialized skills, such as First Aid personnel, security and electricians.

Ennen festivaalia / Before the festival:

● Keittiö, 5 päivää: 
Valitse yksi: ma-pe 10.-14.7. tai la-to 15.-20.7. 
● Community Kitchen, 5 days: 
Choose one: Mon-Fri 10th-14th July or Sat-Thu 15th-20th July.

● Rakennus:
Kaksi viikkoa ennen festivaalin alkua, ajankohta 7.7.-20.7.  Kerrothan hakemuksessa alan osaamisesta, esim. sähkötöiden osaaminen.
● Building:
Two weeks before the festival begins, dates 7th-20th July. Please disclose in your application your competence, for example for electrical work.

Festivaalin aikana, 14-16 h / During the festival, 14-16 hours:

● Eco-tiimi: Alueen siistinä pitäminen festivaalin aikana. 
● Eco Team: Cleaning the area during the festival.

● Parkki & Liikenteenohjaus: 
Autojen ohjaaminen parkkialueella sekä liikenteenohjaus autotiellä. Mainitse onko sinulla ajokortti. 
● Parking & Traffic team: 
Guiding the parking area and traffic control on the road. Please mention if you have driver's license or not.

● Järjestyksenvalvonta: Voimassa oleva JV-kortti pakollinen.
● Security: Valid Finnish security license is required.

● EA: Oltava voimassa oleva EA-kortti.
● First Aid: Valid first aid card is required.

● Kuski: Artistikuljetukset sekä runneri-ajot. 
● Driver: Artist transportation and runner tasks.

Festivaalin jälkeen / After the festival

● Purku, 2 päivää:
Sunnuntaina sekä maanantaina 23.-24.7. Pitää olla festivaalilippu, joka korvataan työsuorituksen jälkeen.
● Building-down, 2 days:
Sunday and Monday 23rd-24th July. Must have a ticket for the festival which will be refunded.

● Loppusiivous, 2 päivää:
Sunnuntaina sekä maanantaina 23.-24.7. Pitää olla festivaalilippu, joka korvataan työsuorituksen jälkeen.
● After-cleaning, 2 days:
Sunday and Monday 23th-24th July. Must have ticket for festival which will be refunded.
