University Day Poster and Talk Presentation Submission Form 2024
University Day Poster Presentations will be held April 9, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. in the Campus Center MPR, prior to the DLS speaker.  Posters will also be set up on April 10,  in Wieden Gym for display during lunch.

Oral Presentations will be held on April 10, 2024, campus-wide starting at 9:15 a.m.

To submit a poster or an oral presentation for University Day, please complete this form.

Submit ONE submission form for each presentation.  Please list ALL students participating in the presentation on this ONE form.

All submission forms must be submitted in electronic format using this form and are due by March 20, at 4:30 p.m. to be included in University Day.

ONE written abstract can be submitted for each oral or poster presentation. The abstracts will be published on the UMPI website. Abstracts must be submitted by April 1, 2024.

Poster files (both .ppt and .pdf) submitted by April 1, 2024 can be printed on campus at no cost.  Email pamela.easler@maine.edu or deliver files to South Hall, Rm. 121, or to Chunzeng Wang, chunzeng.wang@maine.edu, Folsom 201.  Late submissions will not be accepted.

If you plan to have the GIS Laboratory, Folsom 201,  print your UDay poster (which is free of charge), please follow ALL the guidelines below:
1. You may use PowerPoint to make your poster. If you use any other program, please export a pdf copy. Please send your original file and pdf file to Dr. Chunzeng Wang at chunzeng.wang@maine.edu no later than Monday evening.
2. No matter what program/software you use, you must set up page size at first. One side of the page must be 36 inches and the other side can be 24 inches or up to 36 inches.
3. Leave the four white margins of the page no less than half-inch wide.
4. Font size can be anywhere between 28 and 80.
 5. Use a white background.
