What
Art Jam is a multi-day transgender ran-and-focused festival and art making extravaganza!! Attendees share knowledge, try new things, build community and get silly in an environment that uplifts and affirms all gender identities, presentations and experiences. The weekend will also provide abundant opportunity for creative collaboration and connection. All participants are heartily encouraged to apply to lead their own classes, workshops, or demonstrations – we will provide whatever materials you need!

Who Can Attend
This event is open to trans and gender nonconforming artists of all skill levels and disciplines. It is run by transgender artists and open to anyone who self identifies as transgender or gender nonconforming. All attendees are expected to be respectful of all other attendees.

Because this event is focused on building intentional community among transgender and gender nonconforming artists, we will not be selling single day tickets and we ask that all attendees are present for both full days of the event. Friday evening is optional, but highly recommended!

Do you agree to attend both Saturday and Sunday of Art Jam?

Admission to Art Jam includes access to curated workshops, art-making supplies, and finished works to bring home. All attendees have the opportunity to apply to lead a workshop with materials provided. In addition, we will provide meals and snacks over 2.5 days. All attendees will also receive an Art Jam T-shirt as well as a sketchbook.

In order to keep this event accessible, the following price tiers are available:

$$ Standard tier $$: this is our standard ticket price that covers costs associated with running the event.  $150

$$$ Supporter tier $$$: this tier supports us offering tickets to attendees for whom cost would be a barrier to attending. Thank you!!! $200

$ Low Income $: this tier is for attendees who are less financially secure and have less disposable income. $100

$ Allies $ – Donate to Art Jam! Donations of $50 or more will receive an Art Jam t-shirt as a thank you for supporting your trans buddies.

$ Financial Hardship $– If the low income ticket option still presents a financial barrier for you to attend Art Jam, please email us at artjam@spookyhaus.com.

We will be providing vegetarian meals and snacks both days. Do you have any dietary restrictions? *
What are your access needs for this event? Do you use mobility aids? Do you require the use of an interpreter? Will you be bringing a service dog or young child along with you? Something else? Please let us know!
This event is accessible via BART, Amtrak, and several local bus lines. Please let us know if you anticipate any potential challenges to arriving at the event. We are happy to assist you in arriving safely at the event however we can.
Attendees will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and do a rapid test before entering the space. We will be providing rapid tests for all attendees at the beginning of the event, please either take a rapid test the night before and bring it or take one in the courtyard before entering the space.  The space is large and well-ventilated and masking will be optional at the event after a rapid test is taken.

-positive COVID-19 test  
-known COVID-19 exposure within 12 days before the event
-symptoms of COVID-19 or other infectious disease
-extenuating circumstance at the discretion of the event organizers
