HOPE Connection and Veterans Stand Down Volunteer Registration
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at this year's HOPE Connection and Veterans Stand Down on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. You will be serving as an event Guide, and will be matched up with a Guest that is seeking services. Please note- all volunteers must be over the age of 18, available from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm on 11/20, and able to stand for extended periods of time. If you would like to provide extra support to this year's Hope Connection and Veterans Stand Down, please consider making a donation via the "Donate" button at www.cpozarks.org. This event would not be possible without the continued support of our entire community. A gift of $5 will cover the cost of your event T-shirt. A gift of $10 will cover your meal at the event. A gift of $25 will provide one book of bus passes, which allow Guests to get to medical appointments.
I understand that this is a volunteer position and not a contract of employment. I understand that as a volunteer I am required to abide by all polices and procedures of Community Partnership of the Ozarks (CPO), including confidentiality. I understand that I am, of my own free will, volunteering my time and expertise in the furtherance of the mission and goals of CPO, and as such, will not expect, request or accept any monetary or in-kind compensation for my efforts. I acknowledge that CPO does not provide workers' compensation for volunteers who are working as a volunteer in any capacity. By agreeing, I hereby indemnify and save harmless CPO, its funders, grantors, and donors, against and from all liabilities, obligations, damages, penalties, claims, accidents, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees paid, suffered, or incurred for damage or injury to persons or property in whole or in part as a result of my volunteer activities with CPO or any of its programs, projects, or special events. *
