Food Shelf Open Hours

Little Kitchen Food Shelf is currently open four days a week:

Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:00pm-7:30pm
Wednesday and Friday mornings, 10:00am-12:00pm

In February 2024, we are shifting to be open on Saturday mornings instead of Wednesdays and Fridays. Most Twin Cities food shelves are not open on the weekends, and we'd like to be available for neighbors who work at night or rely on Metro Mobility. Avoiding interference with New City's school schedule is an additional positive.

During our open food shelf hours, have several volunteer roles. Choose any and all roles that interest you. *

GREETERS meet neighbors at the door, engage people in conversation, and set out coffee.

SHOPPERS go from shelf to shelf grabbing items that neighbors chose on their shopping lists.

BAGGERS pack food in bags or boxes for neighbors to carry home.
