You just accomplished something many people only dream of - you wrote the first draft of a novel in just 30 days!   2. Because of the amount of people submitting their wins (yay!), the Winners' Circle page won't update in real-time. Please give it at least a few minutes after you submit your response before you start frantically refreshing the page. :)
  3. All public information must adhere to our Code of Conduct and be appropriate for all ages (more on that below).
  4. Authors on our site retain all copyright for their writing projects. By using the NaNoWriMo website, you do not grant us any rights to your work.

Your name! This WILL be displayed publicly, so please only write what you're comfortable sharing. This could be a full name, first name only, pen name, or even "Anonymous."
Codes of Conduct
Your Title and Author information must adhere to the Codes of Conduct for our website. That includes the following guidelines: no violent and/or sexually explicit content, no profanity, no hate speech (i.e. racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, xenophobic, ageist, fatphobic, classist, or other bigoted language).

If you violate these Codes of Conduct, we'll remove your response and, depending on the violation, consider a ban from our website and/or forums.
