These are some responses we have gotten in the past, but they are far from exhaustive.

A lack of diversity could indicate that EA as a whole is not welcoming

We could be missing out on important perspectives that influence our actions and beliefs as EAs

We could be missing out on opportunities to have a lot of impact (for example, in developing countries)
