Calling all Ladies to the next R&R Event:

Are you looking for an opportunity to do something fun, exciting and out of your normal routine on a Saturday night?! Then you cannot miss this event on Saturday, October 23rd from 6-10:30pm! Seats are limited so RSVP now to guarantee a spot!

We will begin our night out with a picnic on the beach, toasting our drinks to the sunset and then jetting off onto part two of our evening adventure.
We will be taking a tour of the intercoastal waters of St Pete Beach with Sharkey's Glass Bottom Tours. Watch the night life come alive and illuminate the sea floor with his custom LED Light system. Experience the coolest views of the underwater ecosystem at night & feed fish in their natural habitat with their dry fish food.

Come dressed in your swimsuit and a cover up and wear flip flops or water shoes. Bring a pack lunch and a beach chair if you so desire. Drinks and beach blankets will be provided.

We will be packing up the church van, leaving the church at 6pm and driving over to the beach. There we will eat walk onto the beach, setup our picnics, enjoy each other's company and make a toast to the sunset. Misc. drinks will be provided.

Around 8pm we will head over to the kayak launching site, behind the Don Cesar. Once we arrive at the dock, our guide will be waiting for us with his kayaks to launch. Launch starts at 8:30 and will last until around 9:30/10pm.

At the main tour site, we'll first visit a bird sanctuary mangrove island. We'll paddle down protected waterways & see amazing underwater views along with feeding fish which is fun for everyone. There are times when the fish get so close you can even touch them. You may also see crabs, shrimp and other sea-life as we illuminate the waters around us.

When we arrive back at the dock launching site, we will board the church van and head back to the church parking lot to end our evening together.

Here's what you'll need to bring:
-2 Towels (one for the seat on the van and one to dry yourself off), a swimsuit and flip flops/water shoes
-$40 for kayak rental (checks being made out to Our Savior Lutheran Church)
-Picnic dinner
-Beach chairs if you so choose

We do not want to discourage anyone from coming to this event because of the cost. All are welcome!
