Fall 2021 Macroinvertebrate ID Session Sign-Up Form
Superior Rivers Watershed Association volunteers have been collecting invertebrate samples from local streams and rivers. The next step is to identify them so we can use this data to help us assess water quality.

We are seeking volunteers to assist with the identification process, which includes sorting, counting, and microscope work. No experience necessary – all equipment and training provided! This is for anyone who is interested in helping out, not just volunteers who participated in the fieldwork in September.

Location: Prentice Park - Main Pavilion, Ashland, WI
(view map here)
Date/Time: Saturday, October 16, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Inclement weather date: Sunday, October 17, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Note: If we reschedule the event to Sunday due to bad weather, we will email participants who have signed up by Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. We will also post this update on our website and social media pages.

Please bring a mask - we will require them when in close proximity to one another.
This will be an outdoor event, so please remember to dress for the weather.
If you volunteered for the Fall 2021 fieldwork and have not yet returned your sample and equipment, please bring them with you to this event.
