Is the battery pack properly connected? *
Is your battery pack fully charged?  (If you are using the AAA battery pack, have you put in new, fully charged batteries?) *
Sometimes the buttons can get jammed. If you are having issues with the buttons try popping the buttons out with your fingernail and popping them back in. What does that do? ( *
