For best consideration to attend NJC in the 2024 Colorado delegation please return asap. Applicants can still apply up until the end of May when the application closes.

The 2024 National Judicial Competition will be held in-person in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota.

This form indicates your application to be considered for the 2024 Colorado delegation to the National Judicial Competition. This form indicates an agreement:

1) That you have discussed with your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) your interest in attending NJC in-person
2) If selected, your intent to attend the National Judicial Competition
3) Your commitment to complete all requirements for attendance, including preparing both sides of an appellate case and paying all conference expenses related to attendance.

THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR A YOUTH DELEGATE ARE:
Youth desiring to participate in the YMCA National Judicial Competition must have participated in their own YMCA State Youth in Government Judicial Program and must prepare an appellate case brief for both the Petitioner and Respondent arguments.

COLORADO DELEGATION DETAILS:

• Estimated costs are $600 - scholarships available

• Regular meetings in June-July
