Advancing Trauma-Informed, Resilience-Oriented and Equitable Approaches Learning Collaboration Registration
The New York State Family Planning Training Center invites Family Planning Program (FPP) providers to participate in a five-month (November 2021 - March 2022) learning collaborative to support FPP providers in Advancing Trauma-informed, Resilience-Oriented and Equitable Approaches (TIRO Equity).

Through the TIRO Equity focused learning collaborative, participants will:
- Gain knowledge and understanding of the key components of a trauma-informed, resilience-oriented care and equity through didactic presentations.
- Discuss successes, challenges, and sustainability as it relates to implementing the TIRO Equity framework with peers and experts.
- Share TIRO Equity implementation experiences and receive feedback from peers and excerpts for continued improvement and implementation.
- Provide feedback to peers and experts on current successful implementation of TIRO Equity.
- Access tools and resources for implementing the TIRO Equity framework within FPP organizations.

Participating teams will submit case studies for discussion and will meet virtually once per month to discuss cases. Teams will be expected to attend all sessions; meet at least once a month between sessions to advance trauma-informed, resilience-oriented and equitable approaches; and submit at least one case study per month. The anticipated time commitment is 3-5 hours per month. Upon confirmation in the learning collaborative, teams will have access to the case presentation form.

FPP providers are encouraged to apply as a team with consideration of different roles within your agency, as well as different power levels and responsibilities.

The New York State Family Planning Training Center and New York State Department of Health will be reviewing registrations and intends to cap the registration at 10 teams. Please complete this registration form by Wednesday, November 3rd.
