  • About Cityfest: Cityfest endorses, supports, sponsors, and produces events and experiences that foster vibrant neighborhoods in downtown and greater Wilmington, which include Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, Light Up the Square, Urban Artist Exchange, The Art Loop, Arts Work Summer Youth Apprenticeship and many more. Since 1980, Cityfest, a City of Wilmington-related 501c3 nonprofit, with the generous support of local businesses and corporations, have developed a number of events to promote economic development and enhance the quality of life for the citizens and visitors through the arts, special events and cultural tourism.

    • YOU can be part of the mission! With your volunteer work, we can spread the word about free concerts for all and opportunities for creativity and community. Volunteer jobs include:

      • Post on your social media, share email newsletter, talk to your neighborhoods and distribute event flyers.

      • Attend events, set up and registration, breakdown events, crowd engagement and more.

    • All Cityfest Volunteer and Hype Team members receive a Members T-Shirt after participating in 3 events and special recognition at the end of the concert season. A separate T-Shirt will be given to Clifford Brown Jazz Festival Volunteers.
