In the serene and secluded landscapes of Scandinavia, a unique singing technique evolved through the ages—Kulning. This mesmerizing technique was traditionally used by women to call free-roaming animals such as cows, sheep, and goats back from the pastures to their stables. Become a part of this cultural journey as we delve into the echoes of Kulning amidst the serene landscapes of Sörmland. Discover the enchanting melodies that once resonated through the valleys and hills, connecting generations and bridging the gap between the human voice and nature.

I would like to book the 2.5-day kulning workshop in Sweden including 3 overnight stays plus 2 lunches in the Hembygsgården museum village for 595,- EUR! Get to know Karin Kolterud and gain a brief insight into this amazing vocal technique.
We would like to recommend an eco-friendly travel option: Taking the night train to Sweden. For instance, from Berlin(D) or Hamburg (D) to Södertälje(SE), and from there, it's just a short hop to Björnlunda.

Night train from June 5th, 21:10 to June 9th, 16:20 - Seat (refundable): approx. 116 EUR round trip - Berth in shared compartment for solo travelers: approx. 256 EUR round trip.  Shared compartment with up to 6 other passengers. Includes pillow, pillowcase, blanket, duvet cover, and bedsheet. Traveling on the night train is only possible with a passport with MRZ or an EU-standard ID card with MRZ code or chip.

The course takes place at Björnlunda hembygdsgården. You have the option to stay directly at Hembygsgård. This is an unique opportunity to stay overnight in this museum village. There are accommodations for 8 people in 5 rooms. There are kitchen to use at hembygdsgård.

We look forward to traveling with you to Sweden and delving into the world of Kulning. When it comes to bookings, it is of course essential to know how to deal with cancelations and cancellation fees. This is handled as follows:
    * Up to 14 days before the workshop: No cancellation fees
    * One week before the workshop: 50% of the total costs
    * Within one week before the workshop or in case of last-minute cancelations: 100% of the total costs.
