Training topics elaboration
1. Domain name and web hosting (1-2 hrs) - You will learn how domain name and web hosting works. You will also learn to identify your domain and web hosting provider and how to change them if you need be in future. We will also login to your web hosting panel and walk you through the key metrics and information you need to know to optimize your hosting and website performance.

2. Website content updating (minimally 4 hrs) - This is the main bulk of the training content where you will learn the overview of WordPress dashboard and what are the key options you need to know. You will then learn how to make use of your page builder to edit or create new content in your website. Common tasks such as editing text, uploading images, editing contact forms, adding new blog posts, edit header/footer, etc, will be covered in this topic. Upon request, you can also learn how to install new plugins to achieve new website features such as online chat, popup and accept payment online.

3. Website software updating (minimally 2 hrs) - You will learn when is the best time to update plugins and WordPress versions safely. You will also learn how to backup and restore your website if need be. In addition, you will learn how to fix the 5 most common WordPress errors.

4. Website security (1-2 hrs) - You will learn what are the common security issues and how to prevent them in your WordPress website. You will also learn how to strengthen your website security. Lastly, you will learn how to recover your website if your website gets hacked.

5. Website SEO (Search Engine Optimization, 2-3 hrs) - You will learn what are the updated search essentials that Google wants website owners to know. You will learn how to optimize your company website according to the Google Search Essentials (previously known as Google Webmaster Guidelines).
