This is the IGEN Shop Request Form. It is the place to submit any questions, concerns, feedback, or requests for the IGEN shop team.
Shop Form Survey Responses will be regularly reviewed by the shop manager and responses will be sorted, prioritized, and distributed to shop supervisors to address.
Shop Form Requests are Divided into 6 Categories:
1. Maintenance Requests
This is the where you should let us know if anything is not working right in the shop.
2. Supply/purchase requests
If there is something that you think the shop should purchase, let us know here.
Smaller Items like Fasteners, adhesive and duct tape will likely be purchased as soon as possible, and it is important to submit requests for items like this because it is challenging for shop supervisors to keep track of supply levels for everything
More expensive Items like larger tools can also be requested, but these may take some time to acquire. Submitting these types of requests is also important to help prioritize shop spending
3. Safety reporting
Report any safety concerns you may have here. Please note, safety reports can be made anonymously.
4. Training/Assistance Request
If you need help using a tool, figuring out how to make something, or designing a part for manufacturing, put you request here
5. Feedback
If you have feedback for the shop please put it here.
Let us know about any concerns, things we're doing well, or suggestions for improvement you may have. Documenting feedback will help us collect it in a central place and use it to make improvements in the future.
6. General Questions
If you have general questions about the shop or other requests that don't fit in the above categories put them here.
Alternatively, submit your questions under the shop-talk channel in the IGEN general discord if you don't mind sharing your question publicly.
