Participating in tutor training is required if you are hired as a peer tutor. Most tutors spend an average of 1-3 hours/week on tutor training depending on when they are hired and begin work during the semester. Often, though not always, tutor training assignments can be done during work hours. Do you understand this requirement and have the time and commitment to meet this requirement?

How many hours per week are you available and willing to tutor?  Please understand that the number of hours a peer tutor is assigned depends on their availability, student demand for tutoring in the tutor's approved courses, and the Tutoring Center's budget. Most peer tutors work 5-10 hours/week.
