Edible Flint Distribution Day 2022 Volunteer Sign Up
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Edible Flint's 2022 Garden Kit Distribution. It takes a large team of volunteers to ensure a smooth Distribution Day event and positive start to the season for Flint and Genesee County gardeners!
This year's Distribution Day will take place on Saturday, May 21 2022 at the Neighborhood Engagement Hub (3216 Martin Luther King Ave, Flint, MI 48505). We will have volunteer shifts from 8am - 7pm. Once you submit your answers to the following questions, you will receive a follow up email from Edible Flint confirming your volunteer time and any other details. Please complete this form no later than Friday, May 13 2022.

COVID-19 Policies and Procedures
In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, Edible Flint will follow these policies and procedures on Distribution Day:
1. Screen Volunteers Reporting to Work
· Each volunteer will complete a volunteer check-in & screening process when they arrive.
· Only healthy individuals should be preparing, packaging, or touching products. If someone is ill or feels sick, they should go home immediately.

2. Routine Cleaning
·  Edible Flint will frequently clean and disinfect surfaces with an EPA approved disinfectant solution.

3. Personal Hygiene
· The following items will be available for volunteers:
o Handwashing sinks with soap and single-use paper towels.
o Proper waste receptacles.
o Alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.


4. Practice Social Distancing During Kit Assembly
· Maintain a safe distance between volunteers assembling kits

5. Practice Social Distancing During Kit Pick-up
· Maintain a safe distance between volunteers distributing kits to cars
· Ask those picking up to pop their trunk or open their own car door so volunteers can load into trunk.
