The mission of Foster Progress is to empower youth from foster care to become successful adults through mentoring, advocacy, and educational opportunities.

Program Description

Y-CAP provides valuable support to youth with foster care experience who are navigating the college landscape. Our dedicated advocates offer personalized guidance through one-on-one meetings, group sessions, and community events. Peer Advocates assist new and continuing students in successfully completing their program of study.

Y-CAP is a joint initiative between the Illinois Department and Children and Family Services.
