2020 Vegan Pledge Registration - Pasadena Vegan Living Program
Thank you for your interest in veganism, and we look forward to having you at the VLP!

Veganism is defined as the way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as possible and practical, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose. In dietary terms it refers to the practice of dispensing with all animal products including meat, fish, poultry, eggs, animal milks, honey, and their derivatives. Unlike 'vegetarian', the word 'vegan' specifically implies moral concern for animals, and extends to more than just diet. Vegans don't wear leather, fur, wool, feathers, or silk and are opposed to zoos, circuses, rodeos, animal testing, or any other industry that harms animals. The Vegan Living Program and its educational content were designed to reflect this definition of veganism as a moral imperative.

The benefits of being a Pledge are that you will be matched with volunteer Vegan Coaches (your Coaches are committing their time to you for the duration of the program), receive a binder full of useful info and recipes, and a goody bag with samples and other free stuff. In addition to the four mandatory educational sessions, there will also be a graduation celebration for Pledges who complete the entire program. A great deal of time, energy and resources are put into the VLP by the organizers and your Coaches so we need to know that you will attend all four educational sessions and the graduation. *

Please Note:
Vegan Living Program educational content is not meant to be construed as health advice, or take the place of a consultation with a medical professional. All Vegan Pledges will be given a release form indicating as much at the first meeting on March 7th, which MUST be signed in order to participate in the program.

All educational sessions will be documented with photography and video, which will be posted online and used in promotional materials for the program. Media may be invited to some sessions. Submitting this registration form indicates your acceptance of these terms. Anyone who refuses upon attending to be photographed will be asked to leave. Our program is successful due in part to the impact that showing it through photographs has on drawing attendance.

Once you click "Submit" you will receive a confirmation email within 72 hours. Please check your spam folder if you don't receive it, or send an email to pasadenaveganlivingprogram@gmail.com.
