Volunteer Expression of Interest
SSMU WALKSAFE is a service run by the Student Society of McGill University. We are a nighttime accompaniment service that walks people home, or elsewhere, anywhere on the island of Montreal for free. During normal operations, we operate every night of the week, Sunday to Thursday from 9 PM to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 PM to 3 AM.

In addition, we are proud to operate our WALKBuddies service in collaboration with F.A.C.E. Elementary & High School on Rue University. WALKBuddies take time during the day to walk school-aged children after school from their school to their daycare on Rue Saint-Famille. If you would like to volunteer for this service, please indicate this on the application.

In filling out this form, we will reach out to you concerning the next steps for the application process via email in the coming days.
