We are volunteer hiking leaders for the Appalachian Mountain Club Adventure Travel (https://www.outdoors.org/outdoor-activities/adventure-travel).

We are leading a group of 12 people on a 12-day hiking trip to Alaska in June 2022.

We are reaching out to you because one of our trip applicants listed you as a reference. To insure all participants have the best experience possible, we appreciate your input.

This trip is for experienced hikers fit enough to hike 5-8 miles and up to 3,200 feet elevation gains with a daypack on typical Alaska trails: sometimes rocky and uneven, sometimes steep.

We are also looking for easy-going trip members with a go-with-the-flow attitude who can also deal with schedule and itinerary changes, accommodations which are not always perfect, and a wide range of personalities in the group.
