2024 SkyEarth Instructor and Course Form

SkyEarth 2024 will be held April 14-20 with opening circle taking place the evening of the 14th, classes running 5 days, the 15-19, and camp clean up and check out on the 20th.

To get free admittance to SkyEarth and to be fed one meal per day as an Instructor, we ask that you teach an equivalent of 15 hours of classes or 50% of the time you will be at the gathering. One instructional session block on our schedule is approximately 1.5 hours and we have four sessions per day - two in the morning and two in the afternoon - for a total of roughly 6 hours of instruction each day.

Once your classes are approved, we will also ask all instructors to register for the event online so we can get final headcounts coming with your crew. Stay tuned for those details.

How should we structure your class on our schedule? You can divide our daily teaching time into 1.5 hour blocks. Two blocks in the morning (3 hours total) and two blocks in the afternoon (3 hours total) for a full day of class of about 6 hours. Is your class 1.5 hours, 3 hours, full day? Do you have a preference for teaching in the morning or afternoon if not a full day? *

Do you have a preference for which days you will teach this class? SkyEarth classes will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this year. Please let us know if the class needs to happen at a certain time in order for students to complete the project, etc (early or late in the week? two or three days back to back?). *

Please send up to 9 additional images (up to 10 total) for social media posts. These can be action shots of you teaching your skills, doing your specialty, or with your family.

Please indicate which photo you prefer as your Instructor Bio Picture on the website. Landscape orientation works best.

Do you have a Facebook page or other social account or website we can link to in our social media promotions for the gathering? Please provide links below.

Do you wish to sell any merchandise at the gathering? If so, please describe your items below with pricing information and send images to SkyEarthGathering@gmail.com. We are also happy to post it with links for purchasing on our Online Mercantile page of the website to drive traffic to your sites. (If your merchandise changes as we get closer to the gathering, we can make updates. This information will be used to get a jump start on planning and advertising for additional registrations)
