Waiting for Christmas: Anticipating, Hoping, Staying Together
We have entered an unprecedented Christmas season. With the lockdown and other travel and gathering restrictions, this year's Christmas will be different. For many it will be marked by loneliness and sadness. Many governments have already issued holiday restrictions. Less shopping, less partying, less socialising. Maybe even without Christmas services in church.

These limitations can be viewed as opportunities to focus, get rid of Christmas hustle and bustle, and concentrate on the miracle of God entering our world as one of us. For sure the feast will be smaller and quieter this year but that doesn't mean it will not be authentic. Maybe even more authentic.

Metropolitan 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐲𝐬 𝐆𝐮𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐚𝐤 of Philadelphia, Bishop 𝐇𝐥𝐢𝐛 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐲𝐧𝐚 of Paris, and Bishop 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐤𝐢 of London will help you to prepare for Christmas. On December 18, 19 and 20 join their 30-minute long retreats about how to prepare for Christmas in times of global pandemic, how to remain hopeful in times of global despair, and how to stay truly connected and united even when we cannot be together.
The UK Government is proposing Christmas bubbles. Choose yours wisely. Let it be one of real peace and true joy! Start now!
