We have been cleared to have a limited number of people participate in the playoff football game on Friday, November 6th. This opportunity is completely voluntary. No SCHS Band, Drumline, or Guard members are required to participate in this event.

A rehearsal for musicians will be held at 5:30PM behind the band room. If you choose to participate in this event, you MUST agree to abide by all safety regulations during both the rehearsal and football game AND commit to attending both the rehearsal and full game.

Interested students must have parental consent and complete the form below. Spots will be filled according to class seniority & performance/instrumentation needs. Students cleared to participate will be notified by November 5th or earlier. Tickets for this game will be sold online and may be limited based on health and MHSAA guidelines. There are no available free tickets for participants, however, students participating will not need to pay for admission.

If you participate in this event, you MUST agree to abide by all safety regulations during both the rehearsal and football game. If you are unable or unwilling to adhere to our safety regulations, you will not be able to participate. These safety regulations include but are not limited to:

*Students must wear a nose & mouth-covering mask at all times, except for the specified times students are playing wind instruments. Neck gaiters are not permitted. When wind players remove masks, they must do so by folding in half, maintaining the inner portion closed to the outside, have a readily available pocket in which to put it, and must return the mask to cover both nose and mouth as soon as playing is complete. (Masks cannot be placed on the ground, or under the chin, or looped off one ear while playing.  That is against the OCHD health regulations.)

*Students will be distanced at minimum of 9 ft. apart throughout the game.  We will set up behind the south endzone between the scoreboard and the goal post. This is the only designated area to play instruments. Students will stand to perform, and sit when not performing.

*No instruments can be played while walking to and from the stadium. This includes percussion.  

*Students must social distance when entering and exiting the stadium.  

*Students must complete the RCS clearance form before entering the stadium.  

*Students will leave their instrument cases at home or in a car.  There will be no need to enter the building at any time.  Students need to bring their personal flip folders with music.  (If any music or flip folios are needed, please let me know.)

*Students will wear SCHS spirit wear.  Please come dressed for the weather.  

*Students must bring their own water bottle.  No food will be permitted.  

*Students need to commit to attending both the rehearsal and the full game. There will be a brief break during the game for students to use the restroom/drink water/eat a snack if needed, but students need to return and play for the remaining part of the game after our break.
